TASK/ROLE

Jewish Museum Berlin Foundation

The theme of the new children’s world at the Jewish Museum Berlin is Noah’s Ark and we were lucky enough to be able to “build” the inhabitants.

150 creatures, from beetles to mammoths, were to be designed according to rough specifications of the architects from Olson Kundig and assembled from used everyday objects.

Under the artistic direction of Anne Metzen and in close cooperation with the architects and the JMB, a large team of designers and artisans created the unique fauna of the Ark over a period of just over nine months.
